Having previously redesigned Guestrooms and Executive Suites of The Westin Palace Madrid, Areen Design was invited to reimagine the Royal Suite of the hotel. With its iconic history & location, the building has always held a special place in the story of the city. Given the hotel’s history as a favourite for artists and performers, the cultural significance of such an opportunity was not lost on the design team. As the most prestigious accommodation in the hotel, the refurbishment of the Royal Suite presented an opportunity to create an upscale, striking & memorable interior befitting its status.
The Royal Suite is located on the hotel’s fourth floor overlooking Madrid’s Neptune fountain & the Prado Museum. The suite consists of a luxurious Master Bedroom & Bathroom, separate Dining Room with an adjoining Study, Kitchenette, Powder Room & distinctly oval Living Room.
