Striking a balance between contemporary and timeless, local and international, and social and intimate, the Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport Hotel has been an exciting project for Areen Design to be involved in. What began as a peer review process swiftly moved into a full design of the Public Areas for this Hotel.
The brief received from our client was to design interiors that would set a benchmark for hotels in Africa whilst merging together the following key themes: achieving a sense of openness and lightness that would complement the architecture of the spaces and the natural surroundings of the hotel; establishing an international aesthetic that would also convey a sense of location that felt considered and authentic; designing in line with Marriott brand standards; creating unique spaces and environments that would be memorable for hotel guests and visitors.
