Areen Road Runners compete in The Windsor Half Marathon!

On the 25th of September the Areen Road Runners took part in The Windsor Half Marathon for the third year running - the race took place close to Windsor Castle within the confines of the Windsor Great Park. The course itself is all on-road and quite challenging with plenty of hills spread around the route, complemented by beautiful scenery; making it a wonderful experience. A truly fun day for runner and spectators alike, all the while raising money for our patron charity CRASH - the construction and property industry's charity.

Victor Asombang lead the Road Runners' charge finishing in a fantastic time of 2:02:47 closely followed by Jolanta Kurpniece and Gaëlle Wedlake. Members of our marketing team and off-site facilities also participated bringing the team to a total of 8 runners. Victor went on to beat his time, completing the Oxford Half Marathon in just 1:55:36!

The Areen Road Runners managed to raise over £1200, which will be used by CRASH to support homeless and hospice charities across the UK.
